Breastfeeding & Infant Feeding Support for Niagara, Hamilton, and Haldimand families.
At Absolute Medical Centre – Paediatric Group, I am one of two lactation consultants providing dedicated support for families through in-clinic visits, in collaboration with AMC’s paediatricians.
Appointments are 30–50 minutes and tailored to your family’s needs. Together, we will address a wide range of feeding concerns, including:
Reassurance that breastfeeding is going well
Weight loss or slow weight gain
Painful latch
Low or oversupply of milk
Mastitis or breast pain
Tongue-tie and other oral restrictions
Transitioning from NICU to home
Coverage: Visits are fully OHIP-covered with a referral from your baby’s health care provider or public health nurse.

Private In-Home Consult
A convenient and stress free option to lactation care, in the comfort of your own home.
During our home visit we will explore the main feeding issue, your goals and expectations, and make a plan of care that leaves you feeling empowered to meet your feeding goals. The home visit include a health history of the parent and baby, a full, comprehensive feeding assessment and oral-function assessment of the infant. All home visits include a pre and post feed weight to assess how much milk your baby is drinking while breastfeeding. The visit may also include an assessment of a pumping session, flange size fitting, and any other questions or issues experienced by the family in regards to infant feeding. An initial consult is booked for 1.5 hours but may be scheduled longer depending on the issue. Follow-up consults are booked for 60 minutes.
All consultations include access to follow up email.
The fee is $110/hour.
For travel over 50km from my location, a travel fee of $0.75/km is added to your invoice.
Lactation support may be claimed on your extended health care benefits for those with coverage. Inquire with your insurance company about eligibility. An invoice will be provided for your claim.

The class includes lifetime access to presentation materials, colostrum expression kit, nipple ruler to measure pump flange size, digital download and more.
The fee is $250/couple.
The support bundle may be claimed on your extended health care benefits for those with coverage. Inquire with your insurance company about eligibility. An invoice will be provided for your claim.
Breast Pump Consult
The breast pump and breast milk expression consult include a full lactation history and history of the present issue, assessment of pumping session, nipple sizing for flange fit, overview of pump and use of pump. The breast pump consult does not include assessment of latching or direct breastfeeding assessments. For a full lactation consult, please refer to the initial lactation consult.
All consultations include follow up via email or phone.
The fee is $110/hour.

Bottle Skills Consult
A bottle skills consult include a full feeding history, oral function exam, bottle trail, a plan of care, and two weeks of follow-up via email and phone. I help with bottle feeding of expressed milk, formula, or a combination of the two.
The bottle skills consult does NOT include latch assessment, breastfeeding assessment, milk supply management etc.
The bottle skills consult is for babies 0-6 months of age.
The fee is $110/hour.
